Judgement and Decision Making Podcast #dirumahaja


Hello!
I know it's not easy for us to do something productive when #dirumahaja has been sounded from 3 weeks ago. While the truth is, laying down on the bed, watching Netflix, and fulfil your stomach with food sounds more fun than writing on the blog.

Ok, today I have heard the motivational podcast from The most influent woman in Indonesia, Najwa Shihab, that is: Judgement and Decision Making. Actually, there are many points that I got, but I’ll summarize that into 3 things!
As the person who eligible enough to do many things in productive age, we used to forget that making the strategies that will bring us closer to the goal we set is as important as what kind of dreams that we would achieve. Be focus on these things.
So, Here are some strategies!

First, willingness to listen and learn.
Many of us usually avoid blaming the person who is talking to us instead of hearing what is the value of what they say. We also should think that the speaker in front of us is having different background and knowledge from us, thus, we should have well-tolerance and open-minded. Those who could tolerance enough to see the differences will influence people easily.

Second, spend your money in your head, none can take it away from you.
Investing in a profitable thing is also important in our life. But, not every people realizes that knowledge is the most profitable investment for ourself instead of gold, bond and so on.
I'm not saying that the other asset is not important but what I'm trying to suggest is knowledge will never speculate what you already paid, never. Example: when you continue your study as magister, you know there is a cost that you have to pay and that’s what I called the most profitable investment.
Why? Because the study isn’t about the result, it is about the process. When you take that process, you will always gain profit as long as it is. It doesn't only belong to magister, but it also occurs when we buy the laptop which we use to become the writer/journalist, or when we join the seminars, etc.

The Last but not least, we are never too old to become the agent of change.
Unfortunately, we used to think that we are too late to try something great. We used to think that it is not my turn anymore, it’s the others. This is the toxic thing that we usually not realized. If we find out the biography of the successful people we will recognize that they are never quite to get what they wanted no matter how old they are. Bill Gates in 40 years old, The founder of KFC in 60 years. One thing for sure, the hardship will bring us to become wiser and deserve to be a success as long we believe!

The Beauty of Islam Perspective That We Need to Learn

Tarbiyyah:  Bukan hanya tentang membentuk manusia menjadi manusia islam melainkan lebih dari itu, yakni membangun suatu peradaban.
